The Role
As a Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally to guide-products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
As a Product Manager at Alight, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.
Key Responsibilities
The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:
Lead development of products and features through blended insights from market research, analytics, user behaviours and feedback. Formulate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and iterate quickly. Craft innovative and delightful solutions to problems. Mentor product managers. Lead design workshops. Maintain a prioritised roadmap. Assisting with product launches and marketing campaigns. Manage relationships with leadership, engineering, support, sales, legal, and peers.
Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years' experience in product management or related role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and project management skills. Experience developing internet products, services, and technologies. Proven ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of Payroll, HR or Financial Services Experience of UX or UI software design Experience of AI and natural language interfaces Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
Work Experience
Previous work experience in HR/payroll is preferred, global payroll industry experience a plus. Prior experience of using Jira Align, Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft project (or equivalent), Excel, and Powerpoint. Demonstrated learning agility. Ability to lead design workshops.
