  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  We're looking for a Lead, Performance Media Professional to join our Tokyo-based marketing team. You have experience working at a media agency or client-side media management and/or leading direct-to-consumer marketing via performance media across key digital channels (including but not limited to Paid Social, Display, Search, Affiliates) in an e-commerce setting. You will also be responsible for handling budgets and having a proven-track record of delivering against critical metrics, revenue goal share and return-on-ad-spend.

  WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  As part of the Integrated Media team, you will work on developing and driving the Nike Performance Media strategy for Japan. You will have to coordinate and execute various elements of the campaigns with in-market teams with the goal of inspiring athletes as well as generating awareness and demand for Nike products and innovation on Nike.com. In addition, the Performance Media Manager will manage and oversee the strategy and execution of media advertising campaigns across digital media channels including but not limited to Paid Social, Display, Search, Affiliates. Success will be measured on sales, return-on-ad-spend, and new membership via sign ups on our apps that you drive.

  WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

  In this role you will report directly into the Director of Integrated Media. You will partner with our Japan Marketing leaders, the Asia-Pacific Latin America geography and Global Brand Marketing teams across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with athletes. Your key internal partners are the business leads from the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) team and Nike Direct Analytics (NDA) team. Your key external partners and our media agency partner, along with our publisher partners (Google, Twitter, TikTok, Meta, Rakuten) and our local Search Engine Optimization (SEO) agency.

  WHAT YOU BRING

  Bachelor's degree or higher Minimum of 5 years of experience working at a digital media agency or client-side media management and/or leading direct-to-consumer marketing via performance media with experience handling budgets and delivering against critical metrics, revenue goals, and return-on-ad-spend Strong understanding of digital and direct response marketing across key channels including Social, Display, Search, Affiliates in an e-commerce setting required (experience at a multi-channel retailer and/or driving online-offline programs a strong plus); must be familiar with relevant digital media buying platforms such as Demand-Side Platform (DSP), Google Ads/AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, etc. Strong analytical skills using data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization as well as implementing growth strategies based on establishing efficiency at scale; experience using ad serving and conversion tracking attribution partners such as Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and site analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture is required Experience working in a highly collaborative, and cross-functional environment, investing in relationships across diverse teams (branding, creative, business, analytics, and technical, etc.) to connect consumers with brand innovation, content by sharing creative best practices provided by our platform partners Excellent written and verbal interpersonal abilities including preparing and delivering presentations on a regular basis to various stakeholders Business level proficiency in Japanese/English required
