  Description

  The Lead Workforce Planning Consultant is responsible for designing and executing workforce planning solutions to drive strategic decision-making with senior leaders. This role will apply advanced analytics, predictive models, labor market trends, and strategic thinking to our workforce data to create and implement enterprise-wide workforce planning initiatives. The Lead Workforce Planning Consultant will work across HR COEs, the People Leadership Team, finance, and senior leaders to create models, address workforce opportunities, and surface insights to ensure UKG achieves our strategic goals.

  Responsibilities:

  • Partner across HR, finance, and business leaders to develop and implement strategic workforce plans that address current and future talent needs. For example, analyzing location strategies, modeling early career hiring, and understanding recruiter capacity.

  • Implement and optimize workforce planning tools and technology to ensure impactful, consistent, efficient, and scalable analyses.

  • Develop and maintain workforce analytics dashboards and models to ensure data democratization for efficient decision-making.

  • Analyze, collect, and interpret internal data to identify workforce trends, gaps, and opportunities aligned to business strategies related to recruitment, retention, and development.

  • Monitor and interpret external labor market trends and best practices to enhance models, provide recommendations, and forecast scenarios to advise the business.

  • Present clear, insightful, and compelling data stories by translating complex forecasts, models, and analyses into deliverables for senior leadership.

  • Develop statistical models and forecasts to project attrition rates and other workforce trends to build workforce insights in our models.

  • Collaborate with the HR Tech team to ensure that workforce data is accurate and up to date.

  • Identify and measure key metrics to track and monitor the success of workforce planning initiatives.

  Qualifications

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workforce planning, financial planning, and/or HR analytics.

  • Experience with data visualization, analytic, and reporting tools such as Visier, Excel, R, BI, and UKG Pro.

  • Proven experience influencing and consulting with financial, HR, and business data.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner in PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
