Purpose:
Works closely with the Executive Director, Retina Marketing and is responsible for disease education and brand marketing for our IZERVAY, avacincaptad pegol for Geographic Atrophy. Specifically, this role is responsible for design and integration of non-personal promotion efforts for Retina Specialists. This role requires an initiative-taker with the ability to understand our commercial strategy and translate tactics into engaging non-personal tactics for Retina Specialists. Effective collaboration across commercial, medical, regulatory, and other cross functional team members is critical in the execution and accountability of this role.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Lead non-personal promotion strategy and efforts to execute initiatives across disease education and brand marketing with a focus on Retina Specialists
Develop and execute non-personal promotion drivers and engagement opportunities for Retina Specialists across platforms and channels
Lead the design and execution for HCP.com website updates and all related drivers
Prioritize and invest on related media, trade, and non-personal promotional opportunities
Ensure consistency and elevate non-personal engagement of our clinical story through collaboration across access, upstream, medical, legal and compliance functions
Develop and ensure pull through of virtual peer education and events and drivers
Lead peer education reporting and analysis of programs for management updates
Design and adapt congress booth education opportunities based on brand strategy
Identify and elevate needs / barriers for the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) support to amplify brand efforts for Retina Specialists
Lead field direction and implementation of Retina Specialist specific non-personal resources
Lead PRC review, approval, and rollout of all non-personal related communications and resources
Acts with the highest level of integrity, collaborates for results, is highly accountable and supports fellow team members consistent with the Astellas culture
Qualifications:
Required:
BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
8+ years of biotech, pharma, or health care experience
Recent responsibility for a significant new brand launch
Experience in HCP omnichannel offerings, engagement, and platforms
Responsibility for HCP marketing mix development and execution
