The Lead Network Automation Engineer is responsible for the creation of network automation to build, provision, operate, and maintain engineered network solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with automation and software development tools and practices with a good understanding of networking technologies.

The Application Hosting - Secure Network Services product provides foundational network infrastructure leveraged by Technology Infrastructure products and platforms in the Wells Fargo Data Centers. We also provide connectivity to business partners, the public Internet and Public Cloud Providers. Application Hosting is transforming operations to provision network capacity at an accelerated pace through full automation, providing transparency to the consumer and the network operators throughout the lifecycle of the infrastructure.
In this role, you will: Lead and participate in the development of standardized business-to-business network solutionsParticipate in the planning and development of automation to test, deploy, and maintain business-to-business networksCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsAdopt and promote Modern Engineering PracticesCollaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managersManage allocation of people and financial resources for Network EngineeringMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications, US: (required)5+ years of combined Network Engineering and automation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching platforms and solutions from Cisco and Arista 5+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment Desired Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience with Agile and related tools like JIRADemonstrated experience developing and testing standardized network solutionsDemonstrated experience developing business-to-business networksDemonstrated expertise in BGP, IPSEC, VPN, PKI and related technologiesRelevant Certifications from Cisco, Arista, and Cloud Service ProvidersSelf-motivated continuous learnerDemonstrated skill developing and maintaining technical standardsFamiliarity with tools like Ansible Tower/Automation Platform, Cisco DCNM and Arista CVPExperience working in a large enterprise environmentJob Expectations: The position has in office work expectations with the possibility of a hybrid work scheduleWillingness to travel up to 10%Willingness to support occasional out of hours operational needsThe role pays in the range of $133,300.00 to $237,100.00 (New York) and is based on qualifications and experiencePosting End Date:
