The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Guest Communications on the Corporate Communications Team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Guest Communications and Engagement.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
The Lead, Guest Communications is the subject matter expert regarding communications systems including Everbridge, Blastfax, Crossmedia, and Taskmanager. They will lead projects from inception to completion, providing continuous communication of project status while ensuring on-time delivery of projects with minimal to no supervision. This Lead position lives within the company's dual-branded Guest Communications team and will focus on crafting campaigns and deliverables to support the Celebrity Cruises guest experience. Works closely with the coder, copywriter, Sr. Specialist, and other members of the Guest Communications team, as well as Marketing, Revenue, Hotel Operations, & Deployment for project completion
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the subject matter expert for the full funnel digital guest experience as it relates to guest communications. The Lead understands audience segmentation, communication cadence, dynamic information, systems, and uses this understanding to advise communication best practices.Analyzes data, considers available solutions or alternate methods of proceeding, and prepares recommendations for implementation of new reporting, policies, procedures, and processes.Conducts research and creates and/or produces ad hoc reports to support projects assigned by various levels of management.Creates standardized reporting formats to track operational trends and team/individual performance.Summarizes trends and relations through graphs, pivots, schedules and memorandums.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Associate degree in a related discipline plus 2-4 years related experience and/or training required, or equivalent combination of education and direct industry experienceProficiency in mass communications, campaign management tools, and communication systems like Salesforce, Everbridge, Blastfax, Crossmedia, Taskmanager, Adobe, and Microsoft.Proficiency in data analysis and reportingExcellent logistic and campaign coordination skillMeticulous attention to detail; clear and concise communication, commitment to producing quality product; deadline conscious.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or universityPrevious cruise line or travel industry experienceWorking knowledge of visual design programs considered a plus.
