The Royal Caribbean Group's Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Global Social Media Strategy on the Marketing Team reporting to the Director, Global Social Media.
Position Summary:
As a Global Social Media Strategy Lead at Celebrity Cruises, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our global social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth. You will lead a team of social media specialists, manage campaigns across various platforms, and play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business goals and targets specific audiences.Lead, mentor, and manage two social media specialists. Provide guidance, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.Oversee the planning and creation of engaging and shareable content for social media platforms. Ensure content is aligned with brand voice and messaging.Manage end-to-end social media campaigns, including content scheduling, budget allocation, ad targeting, and performance monitoring.Leading the Sr. Analyst, Social Media, in monitoring and analyzing social media performance and use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.Develop strategies and campaigns in collaboration with our go-to-market team to integrate product initiatives seamlessly into our storytelling driving our business goals.Develop strategies to grow and nurture our social media audiences. Identify opportunities for audience expansion and engagement enhancement.Develop and implement crisis management plans for social media and ensure a timely response to any issues or negative feedback.Stay updated on the latest social media platform trends and changes. Recommend platform-specific strategies and tactics.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, social media management or a similar leadership role.In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, etc.)Proficiency in social media listening and content publishing toolsExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for digital marketing.Experience with crisis management and effective problem resolution.Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization.Knowledge of paid social media is a plus.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.Exceptional oral and written communication skills - diplomacy and interpersonal skills are a necessity.Experience managing an agency and external vendors that are an extension of our team.Available outside of standard office hours, as social media is "always on".Ability to think critically, take initiative and work autonomously.Project management experience and skillset.Dependable, eager, respectful, proactive.Self-starter with a positive attitude and a collaborative personality.
