Your New Role:
As a Lead, Flex Talent, you will be responsible for supporting the management and administration of the organization's external workforce program for your assigned region(s). Your role will involve supervising the day-to-day operations of a team in supporting the ongoing pay and management of contingent workers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and best practices. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors to drive value and performance, and contingent workers to optimize the utilization of contingent talent and contribute to the organization's talent acquisition and workforce management objectives.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Contingent Workforce Management: Support the end-to-end management of the contingent workforce program, including vendor selection and management, talent pool and pipeline arrangements, contract administration, pay, onboarding, offboarding, and performance tracking.
Vendor Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for vendor communication, ensuring effective collaboration, compliance with contractual obligations, and resolution of any vendor-related issues or concerns.
Vendor Tendering: Assist with the drafting, evaluation and implementation of new vendor tendering, collaborating with colleagues in Commercial
Vendor Payments: Partner with Finance, Commercial and technology teams, ensure all vendor payments are accurate and made on time and to contract.
Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Stay informed about relevant labor laws, tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements pertaining to contingent workers, ensuring adherence and minimizing legal risks associated with contingent workforce management. Assist with UK worker tax assessments and vendor tax arrangements with advice from tax specialists
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Drive Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives with the vendor in line with WBD’s vision and goals.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the contingent workforce program, tracking key metrics, generating reports, and providing insights to stakeholders for decision-making and program optimization.
Contingent Worker Support: Serve as an escalation resource for contingent workers, addressing inquiries, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and facilitating effective communication between workers and relevant stakeholders. Understand and advise on worker payments and deductions.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating contingent workforce management processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of the program's efficiency and effectiveness.
Leadership: Manage a team of 1-2 Specialists to support the ongoing success of the contingent workforce program.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Technology and other relevant teams to align contingent workforce management strategies with organizational goals, ensuring an effective and compliant operating model. Serve as a partner and resource to our clients and businesses - supporting managers and advising on workforce issues consulting with Legal, Commercial, Finance and Tax as required.
Training: Support the operating team in delivering training to Specialists and Coordinators on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relevant experience preferred. Additional certifications or training in contingent workforce management is a plus.
5+ years experience in contingent workforce management, talent acquisition, Human Resources or related roles preferred.
Progressive leadership and/or project management experience.
Familiarity with vendor management systems (VMS), preferably Beeline.
Knowledge of relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to contingent workers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage documentation and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels, businesses and regions to support and adopt contingent workforce program policies and practices.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
