About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst. to join their Finance team. This team is responsible for financial and economic analysis, forecasting and evaluating trends in sales, finance, and other areas of the business.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development of financial forecasts for ongoing business performance and asset/lability/capital management and stress testing.
Succinctly summarizing results and convey key outcomes to senior and executive management for review and approval.
Work cross functionally and co-ordinate Home Lending (HL) related activities in support of the Enterprise-wide Forecast process, Stress-Testing, Recovery and Resolution Planning and Asset Liability Committee initiatives.
The role involves:
Playing liaison between the Enterprise teams and HL specific subject matter experts to communicate expectations, requirements, and timelines.
Consolidates, analyzes, and communicates results to HL leadership and enterprise and other stakeholders.
Executes on RCSA related controls and ownership of associated models.
Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance.
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications:
CPA/MBA/bachelor's degree in finance or related fields.
Experience in Banking/Financial services/Consumer Lending/Mortgage industry.
Experience in tools such as Essbase, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau etc.
Analytical Skills: Ability to develop financial analyses that help drive strategic business decisions. Has demonstrated ability to dive into the key business drivers and develop appropriate business performance related financial analyses (right level of financial reporting, financial dashboards etc.)
Self-motivated individual, who is proactive and is looking for ways to elevate the role by going above and beyond the routine responsibilities.
Ability to influence peers and leaders and experience in working on cross functional projects.
Good written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint
Experience collaborating with offshore teams, experience with RCSA and other control frameworks.
