About Lead Facility Controls Engineer

  Job Description Summary

  The Lead Facility Controls Engineer will provide the compete engineering and design of facilities control upgrade projects, as well as engineering and design of newly installed systems.

  Job Description

  Essential Responsibilities

  Capable of designing a web based fully integrated building automation system using Tridium Niagara 4 with a building graphical user interface that will be comprised of a network of interoperable, stand-alone digital controllers communicating on an open protocol communication network residing on/or through and Ethernet/Fiber System Assist in creation of Control StandardsDevelop System Sequences of OperationsTroubleshooting local controllers, communication wiring, programs, and schedules to identify concerns and determine corrective action with the aid of hourly employeesContinual Commissioning of Building Automation SystemsDevelopment of Energy Saving Strategies

  Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

  Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university AND a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experienceOR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing experience

  Desired Characteristics and Experience

  Familiar with multiple control platformsAbility to create custom programming code using multiple programming languagesMicrosoft Visio Studios for Control Drawing CreationsFamiliar with latest ASHRAE Standards for Mechanical and Automation Systems DesignExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working on large plant systemsTeamworkingGood communication skillsMust be clear and concise when reporting activitiesPositive mindset and resilienceWillingness to learn and share knowledge
