Job Description
TransUnion Risk and Alternative Data Solutions, Inc (a wholly owned subsidiary of TransUnion, LLC) seeks
Lead Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Independently build and operate IT networks. Migrate datacenters/networks under strict timelines. Provide network expertise for high volume software production systems. Troubleshoot network issues with customers and manage support tickets, including layer-2, layer-3, and/or layer-4 network protocols and technologies. Support network monitoring, efficiency and automation tools. Configure and maintain network security components including management platforms and content filtering engines. Document systems, configurations and network flows. Participate in on-call rotation. Technical environment: network security components (firewalls, identity & access); routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP; configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure components (routers (Cisco), switches (Arista, Cisco), firewalls (Cisco, Juniper), load balancers (F5, A10)); Network Analysis and monitoring tools including Sniffer and Solarwinds; Linux, AWS, Ansible.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or in network design or as Network Engineer required. Required skills: experience building, designing, implementing, troubleshooting IT networks; network security (firewalls, identity & access, management platforms, content filtering engines); expert level in OSPF, BGP and EIGRP; routers (Cisco), switches (Arista, Cisco), firewalls (Cisco, Juniper), load balancers (F5, A10)); troubleshooting layer-2, layer-3, and/or layer-4 network protocols and technologies; Sniffer, Solarwinds; Linux, AWS, Ansible. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation. Telecommuting permitted. (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering or related field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in network design or as Network Engineer also acceptable).
