Lead role on design engineering and coordination/key technical interface to customer and vendors in execution of Energy Management Systems projects. Lead system engineer is responsible for the execution of projects in time, quality and budget.
Job Description
Support the Business Verticals in creating and reviewing (in conjunction with the leadership team) Energy Management System solutions, ensuring that solutions are technically fit for purpose and that technical risk is understood and managed with contingencies identified. Acts as a main Technical Interface with Customer, Internal and External Stake holders for EMS project execution. Responsible for defining the Control Architecture for an EMS system which includes its automation principle, networking concepts and communication interfaces complying relevant standards.Analyse customer's contract, prepare specifications to vendors and internal stake holders. Prepare technical documentation as per contractual requirements, vendor documentation review. Involvement in the design of the HMI (Human Machine Interface).Preparing Design Specification and Test documentation.Work with the Internal Stakeholders to prepare control cabinet plans, wiring diagrams, interconnections, and associated interface lists.Perform tests on automation systems to finalize Factory Validation Tests with the Customer.Identify technical risks and put in place the mitigation plan. Review solutions developed and identified opportunities for improvement of process, system, or equipment. Foster relationship with other GE business entities to maximize the benefits of synergyLiaise with Platform Engineering, Technology and Value Engineering, and Supply Chain as appropriate to support the project and the business. Liaise with other GE businesses, platform verticals, supply chain, sub-contractors and suppliers as appropriate to support the project and the business. Drive lean mind set to provide optimum technical solutions for the projects.Ensure strict compliance with all company and customer EHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering from reputed College/UniversityMinimum of 5 years' experience in EMS Automation project executionControl and Automation expertise with deep knowledge in Power Electronics, Specialist in Energy management Preferably Fossil sources and Renewable & storageAbility to adapt and multi-task with project/application engineers. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
