  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  As a Nike Direct Loss Prevention Manager - Japan, you'll be responsible for providing investigative, incident management, shrink mitigation and safety strategies to support Nike stores. You will be working closely with internal and external partners; your work will ensure that Nike's stores provide a safe and secure

  environment for our team and consumers. You'll provide leadership to store teams in driving down shrink caused by theft, fraud, and operational issues. This is a dynamic role, and no two days will be the same. From spending time in stores reviewing best practices and providing training to teams, to building your own unique Loss Prevention (LP) strategy to support the marketplace, you'll leverage your subject matter expertise to best protect Nike Stores. Finally, you will foster a culture of honesty, integrity and inclusion for athletes and consumers.

  WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  You will deliver risk based and segmented Loss Prevention strategies to best protect the varied Nike stores under your purview in Japan. You will be driving Loss Prevention Programming to store and field leadership teams. This will include developing key partnership with Retail District Managers and Retail Marketplace Leaders, providing Loss Prevention expertise and Point of View.

  You will analyze shrink drivers [theft, fraud and operational] and conduct high impact investigations to resolve issues while implementing mitigation strategies to deter future loss.

  You will identify business opportunities regarding physical security and implement future facing and innovative solutions. Further, you will lead incident and crisis management response supporting store and field teams, ensuring the safety of employees and consumers and the continuity of business.

  WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

  You will build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to include: Nike Athlete Experience (NAX), Store Construction, Legal, Employee Relations (ER), Human Resources (HR), etc. Working closely with Store Construction teams to ensure that Physical Security Standards and Guidelines are met during new store builds and remodel projects. You will manage relationships with external vendors to include Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), access control, alarms, guard services, etc.

  WHAT YOU BRING

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.3 - 5 years of Loss Prevention, security, or relevant experience. Loss Prevention Certified (LPC) and/or Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) designations highly preferredSound knowledge of industry best practices and a view of loss prevention in the ever-changing retail landscape. Proven presentation and facilitation skills combined with the ability to articulate complex business drivers is also required.Experience conducting interviews of theft/fraud subjects; Wicklander-Zulawski or Reid training and certification preferred.Experience with Loss Prevention reporting tools (Exception-based Reporting, Case Management) and an ability to use data to back up assumptions and articulate business cases.Ability to communicate in English and Japanese will be required.Domestic/ International travel up to 50% of the time will be expected
