Job Description About This Role
As Lead, Distribution & Partners Management you will ensure optimization of distribution of Biogen products to French customers to guarantee patient availability. You will provide expertise to global distribution and logistics teams. In addition, you will manage Paris HQ site services activities and establish continuous relationship with key partners for in-scope activities.
What You’ll Do
1. Ensure optimization of distribution of Biogen products to French customers to guarantee patient availability
Manage local logistics partner (3PL)
Lead the day-to-day management of logistics partnerLead monthly, quarterly, and annual status meetings with 3PLMonitor Logistics Service Agreement and initiate changes when necessaryImplement and check key performance indicatorsTrack transportation and logistics costs against budgetIdentify and drive continuous improvement projects of the 3PL. Understand impact of the required changes and initiate corrective actions
Optimize distribution channels for the French affiliate
Implement and follow up the SMS processMonitor product availability, risk analysis of products shortages and corrective actions / Group reportingPropose improvement to distribution channels customized to local market needsOptimization of order processes, search for adequate solutions by sales channelBe Biogen representative within professional bodies (LEEM, CIP,…) Customer focus
Support business for all logistic aspects regarding Hospital TendersParticipate and prepare new products launch for retail and hospitals marketsAuthorize new customers account creation and review (wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies)Determine and manage customer credit limitsAct as an interface and escalation point for affiliate Leadership Team (LT) commercial, finance and supply chain internal stakeholdersFollow up customer complaints with relevant departments (Quality team, Global D&L teams, …) Financial support
Manage daily turnover by customer categories and productsMonitor of the billings, cash collection, outstanding balance.Participate to monthly closing tasks (Order to Cash process) in coordination local Finance and GBSPerform monthly revenue control by customers and productsCalculate DSO, analyze Aged Balance and determine corrective actionsPrepare receivable monthly postings, generate controls reports. Participate to the budget and forecast processes for distribution costs Audit
Assist Local Finance with external and internal auditorsLead audits with 3PL to ensure respect of the specifications.Establish and maintain appropriate internal control environment in line with French and Corporate, regulations and policies USGAAP, SOXOptimize Financial/Logistic and Quality processes and controls 2. Provide expertise to Global Distribution & Logistics Teams
Bring local expertise and market and distribution knowledge for Group logistics projects (customer repository, SMS, etc...)Represent French affiliate in D&L and global supply chain interactions 3. Manage local Facility Management (FM) partner for Paris HQ site
Lead the day-to-day management of FM partner and car fleetLead monthly, quarterly, and annual status meetings with FM partnerMonitor FM Service Level Agreement and initiate changes when necessaryImplement and check key performance indicatorsTrack FM costs against budgetIdentify and drive continuous improvement projects of the FM provider. Understand impact of the required changes and initiate corrective actionUnderstand business needs and their impact on site servicesMaintain procedures for all in-scope services and train affiliate employees accordingly Qualifications Who You Are

Required Skills
Minimum 7 years in relevant senior rolesExperience working in a global/ regional function and matrix environmentHands-on experience in 3PL operationsAbility to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focusDemonstrated impact in roles requiring orchestration and influence; collaborative, influence-based leadership approach.Strong ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to large and complex projects.Strong business acumen – Deep understanding of business; product portfolio, marketsStrong written and oral communicationFluent English & French (both daily use) Additional Information
