We are seeking a talented strategist who is passionate about collaborating with leaders within the complex healthcare industry.
The Lead Corporate Strategist (Corporate Strategist IV) supports the management and execution of Premera’s enterprise strategy. As the Lead Corporate Strategist IV, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and facilitating the forums where Premera’s senior leaders meet to share strategy, drive performance, and keep apprised of operational issues. This role supports Strategy Execution through leadership in the Portfolio Governance process. As a critical influencer, you will ensure that strategy is realized in enablement efforts. You will play a role in the strategic planning cycle and annual operating plan management. As a lead strategist, you will use the objective and key results framework as a means of managing our strategy. This role will at times facilitate forums, develop strategy communications, and create insight documents. In addition, you may lead and mentor other members of the Enterprise Strategy team.

Work closely with senior leaders and support teams as they develop key performance insights to share with their peers in senior leadership meetings.
Design and manage agendas for Quarterly Business Reviews for Officers and Directors as well as monthly Officer Huddles.
Partner closely with other leaders within the Enterprise Strategy team and leaders on work as it pertains to the Corporate Strategic Planning cycle.
Play a leadership role in Portfolio Governance and partner with key stakeholders across the business to support the execution of the strategy.
Develop and manage work using the OKR framework and support leaders in doing the same in support of the corporate strategy.
Act as an internal consultant providing guidance and facilitating forums on complex business solutions, analytical projects, and planning resources.
Partner closely with critical stakeholders in Strategy Development, Corporate Communications, and Organization Change Management, and Employee Experience to identify tools and resources needed to enable the enterprise strategy.
Interface with management at all levels of the company within the scope of the assigned project to ensure the quality and timeliness of projects.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree or four years’ work experience. (Required)
Seven years of experience in consulting, or analytical business experience OR Master's degree and 5 years of related business experience. (Required)
MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field. (Preferred)
At least three years of experience working or consulting in healthcare and/or insurance industries, demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare and insurance industries, including factors that influence the industry. (Preferred)

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$112,900.00 - $191,900.00
National Plus Salary Range:
$128,700.00 - $218,800.00
*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska .
