About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant to join our Wells Fargo Total Rewards Line of Business Compensation Consulting Team - this specific role will be aligned with the Commercial Banking Line of Business. The team supports leaders and employees through strategic consultation, compensation design, program management, and effective risk governance. The Lead Compensation Consultant will provide credible strategic and tactical consultation on compensation initiatives in support of company and nuanced line of business needs.
In this role, you will:Partner with HR leaders and Commercial Banking executives as an internal consultant to strategize and influence, develop base and incentive compensation programs, and to resolve complex issues where analysis may require an evaluation of tangible and intangible factors to meet business needs.Use data to drive recommendations in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers (mid-level to executive level) to resolve issues and achieve goals.Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor as needed.Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Desired Qualifications: Incentive design consulting experienceExperience consulting on compensation strategies with C-suite level executivesExperience aggregating and interpreting compensation data and translating into executive summaries.Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills Workday experience, preferably compensation and reporting modules.Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management.Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment.Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Job Expectations:Position will require onsite presence in one of these locations: Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN: Des Moines, IA; San Antonio, TX; Irving, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and Chandler, AZRelocation assistance is not available for this position.This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.#HRJobsWe Value Diversity
