You will be able to leverage your technical knowledge to directly support customer through commissioning, maintaining, servicing of Power Conversion's state of the art products and solutions across the globe, while you collaborate across the globe with key functional teams and enhance your strategic business acumen. The job will require frequent traveling up to 100 % to various client sites in India and globally.

Essential Responsibilities
The Lead Commissioning Specialist develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you are responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Primary GE representative, lead site on assigned customer or project.Commissioning of the Medium Voltage and Low Voltage variable speed drives with Medium Voltage Switchgear in business segments such as Power Plants, Metals, Marine, Oil & Gas, Material handling, etc,.Provide site leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other GE field personnel in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned product linesPerform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installationAccurately document as commissioned documents for record keepingRespond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipmentProvide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sitesProvide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sitesMaintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standardsKnowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for wide range of equipment vintageApply Six Sigma analytical tools to assist the customer with proactive reliability and management. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Assist customer with improving reliability and reducing cost of ownershipProvide single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other GE stakeholdersAssist the factory with data collection and timely reporting to facilitate fleet performance analysis, including marketing intelligence and sales opportunities for services, and supportAssist customer with spare parts ordering & issues resolution
Qualifications/Requirements
Masters/ Bachelors/Diploma Degree from accredited college / university in Electrical Engineering or allied Engineering.7 - 20 years of relevant experienceShould have process knowledge of Metal / Marine / Oil & Gas / Test Bench / Material Handling / Power PlantKnowledge in Power Electronics, High Voltage Equipment & PLC
