Overview
Deutsche Bank Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centers. Our team provides the architectural foundation, end-to-end provisioning, security, and operation of Deutsche Bank's Cloud solutions (Public, Hybrid and On-Premises). Deutsche Bank has formed a ten-year strategic partnership with Google. Our goal is to use the full native capabilities of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build a self-service platform for Deutsche Bank's engineers to safely provision GCP resources without friction.

What You'll Do
Ensure our teams conduct themselves according to the Bank's policies and expected standards of behavior; doing the right thing the right way
Engage with our wider enterprise, championing technical excellence, challenging outdated thinking, and removing organizational impediments to our success
Own internal customer and external vendor relationships to ensure we are building the right capabilities and have the tools to do it well
How You'll Lead
Manage, coach, and grow a long-lived, cross-functional engineering team, responsible for the full software development lifecycle for significant platform capabilities, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, documentation, and operations
Role model our value and beliefs; being an ambassador for our engineering culture
Skills You'll Need
Identify as a generalist who specializes in a few areas. You should be comfortable line-managing colleagues from recent graduates to seasoned veterans
Experience helping teams to achieve their goals by being practiced trainer, coach, and mentor and know where each technique is best applied while being sensitive to the needs of your team and use your influence to remove organizational impediments
Experience leading teams in the build of platforms or services consumed outside of your team. Perhaps you have solved for multi-tenanting, metering, or logging at scale in a SaaS product, integrated foundational infrastructure services like secrets management, identity management or software-defined networking in a large organization, or maybe you have documented, scaled, and secured application programming interface (APIs) in a cloud or container platform
Confident working with several programming languages, tools, and technologies, including Infrastructure as Code, with the ability to guide colleagues as to the context where each is useful
Experience using GCP or another public cloud provider to build applications
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Experience in Python and Terraform
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $155,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
