About Lead Cloud Engineer

  The Lead Cloud Engineer is responsible for proactively maintaining and managing Thomson Reuters' cloud environment by developing and refining solutions and services for Cloud Landing zones, focusing on Microsoft Azure landing zones, but also working with other cloud providers and their landing zone services, tools, and solutions. This opportunity is hybrid, reporting to our Eagan, MN office.

  About the Role

  In this opportunity as a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will:

  Manage and troubleshoot issues which include following escalation paths, both internally and externally, and liaison with cloud vendors.Collaborate with technologists across the company to build cloud-native applicationsWork with PaaS (Platform as a Service) or IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutionsFollow security best practices for cloudDistribute data stores such as Azure Storage, CosmosDB, Azure SQL, and Redis cacheWork with container technology such as Docker, AWS ECS, Azure Kubernetes ServiceCloud Monitor such as using Azure Monitor and DataDogTest automation frameworks including C# Unit Testing and Postman API testing

  About You

  You're a fit for the role of Lead Cloud Engineer if you possess:

  Leadership experience with leading/guiding othersStrong experience in AzureExperience with IAC development (Infrastructure as Code), Proficient in ARM (Azure Resouce Manager) and Azure/DevOps pipelines, Strong experience with .NET and C#Proficient with GitHub and GitHub actions and Operational Support (Service Now), Scripting with Bash or Python
