The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sales Operations & Enablement organization as we continue to shift to drive the business through data-based insights. This role involves a wide range of projects in support of key business decisions and fiscal results. The incumbent will design, develop and maintain analytical solutions and bring in thought leadership while dealing with complex business problems. The incumbent will have the opportunity to develop Business Cases that will have material impact on Sales performance and organization wide Growth and Retention metrics. Role involves partnering with geographically dispersed Sales, Operations, Finance and other Strategy & Ops colleagues to provide influential insights and recommendations to management.
What You'll Do
As a Lead BI Consultant, you'll be a core part of the Enterprise Sales Analytics team, driving analytics-based insights that informed decision making for our Sales Organization, and improve performance to drive revenue and retention goals. The incumbent would be responsible to drive the following key responsibilities, this list is however not exhaustive.
1. Problem Formulation and Solution Design:
Develop business cases and analytical problem statements.Define project scope and success criteria.Lead solution design.2. Stakeholder Engagement and Project Management:
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure active engagement.Iterate business cases for meaningful outcomes.Own project outcomes, driving them from concept to execution.Focus on driving adoption of solutions.Demonstrate a methodical and self-organized approach.Efficiently lead and delegate tasks with process controls.3. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Aggregate, summarize, and interpret large datasets using statistical methods.Formulate data gathering protocols for recording, evaluating, and reporting data.Analyse current business processes and/or SOP's for efficiency improvements.Perform gap and risk analysis to identify areas for organizational improvement.Demonstrate 'Art of Possible' by exploring Advanced Analytics, ML and Deep Learning techniques to elevate the scope of proposed solutions for complex analytical problems4. Communication and Relationship Building:
Build strong data-driven narratives.Assist executives in making informed decisions.Communicate complex concepts and insights clearly to business and teammates.Champion relationships with business teams, displaying a thorough understanding of processes.Recommend innovative analytics-driven solutions.5. Performance Management and Metrics:
Develop a framework for performance management across roles and functions.Identify relevant business and product metrics for analysis and tracking.Set up analytical practices within the team.Work with BI platform teams to design, build, and deploy data analysis systems.6. Research and Benchmarking:
Conduct benchmarking studies and secondary research.Introduce standard methodologies through research.
What You Need to Succeed
8-12 years of work experience in the relevant fieldBachelors (STEM) with Masters, MBA or equivalent in AnalyticsHands-on experience in analyzing large datasetsExpertise in data analysis tools / languages like MS Excel, T-SQL, Power BI, Python, R etc.Proficient in Microsoft Office softwareDomain/ industry expertise in Sales analytics and GTM strategy
