The main function of this position is to provide configure, deploy and upgrade workstations/servers to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery turn key solutions. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.
The salary for this position is ($78,500 - 119,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex building automation, fire alarm, access control security and video analytics systems proprietary to Honeywell.
Perform Windows Server system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches
Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer
Programming includes SQL databases, EBI’s and Graphics Front End Command and Control software.
Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications)
Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations
Proper use of safety personal protection equipment
Security and other clearances as required by customer
This is a travelling field service engineer position which can be based in Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles or Santa Clara.
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual agreements
Basic Qualifications
5 years of experience
Certifications required for system specific work
Ability to work independently 75% of the time
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays
Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

NICET Level II Certification
CCNA, Security+, CISSP, Microsoft
