Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
Support logistical operations within LOGCAP by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining warehouse efficiency to meet mission demands.
Roles and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming supplies, equipment, and materials in accordance with established procedures and inventory management systems.
Conduct regular inventory counts, perform stock checks, and update records to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
Prepare shipments, pack items securely, and arrange for their dispatch based on requisitions or orders, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
Coordinate with logistics teams to manage transportation, distribution, and tracking of materials to various locations as per mission requirements.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse, including handling materials safely, following safety protocols, and disposing of waste appropriately.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials and perform loading and unloading tasks.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts, ensuring documentation compliance with LOGCAP and military regulations.
Prepare reports, update inventory databases, and provide necessary documentation for audits or inspections as required.
Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, security protocols, and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Report any safety concerns, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors and take appropriate corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, logistics personnel, and other team members to support operational goals and meet mission demands.
Assist in training new warehouse staff and providing guidance on proper handling, storage, and inventory control procedures.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements, workflow improvements, or cost-saving measures within the warehouse operations.
Contribute ideas for streamlining procedures, increasing efficiency, and maintaining optimal warehouse functionality.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working in a CLI warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Knowledge and access to the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and DLA Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES).
Familiarity with TB MED 530, DA PAM 30-22 and TM 4_41x12.
Should have at least 2-3 years experience in a CLI warehouse.
