About Launch Manager, Product Data Operations

  Meta is looking for an experienced and motivated Launch Manager to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team. PDO provides data and insights that power machine learning and AI, at the core of all Meta products. As a Launch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of GenAI and Machine Learning programs by providing technical guidance, overseeing launch execution, and providing strategic direction.. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the efficient execution of GenAI and Machine Learning labeling and data collection program launches. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge programs that will shape the future of AI at Meta!

  Launch Manager, Product Data Operations Responsibilities:

  Own technical requirements gathering for GenAI and Machine Learning labeling and collections programs to ensure timely and effective outcomesStandardize and scale PDO's program launch process through automation, optimization, and innovationCross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with tooling and engineering to configure programs in line with product team needs and develop requirements for new tooling feature needsProject Management - develop and launch projects for a large team of FTE/CWs/Vendors and ensure projects are completed with urgency and to qualityRisk and Issue Management - Identify program risks, triage technical issues, and develop mitigation plans. Proactively manage risks to ensure successful program deliveryStakeholder Communication - Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on program progress and KPIsProactive problem solving, breaking down ambiguous issues into component parts to develop solutionsMinimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.8+ years in consulting, operations, or technical program management2+ years of experience with SQLProven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex programsExperience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working with urgencyExecutive presence and experience using data to influence senior leadershipCritical thinking/analytical leadership experienceProven team player adaptable to a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:

  Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologiesMasters Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldScripting and issue triage experienceProven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs on time and within budgetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the experience to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadershipStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExperience in AI, machine learning, or related fields is a plusExperience with program management tools and softwareAbout Meta:
