Temporary,full time position from 03/01/2024 through 11/30/2024, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday, someSaturdays may be required. Workers will be paid Weekly at$20.25-$21.00/hr, $30.38-$31.50/hr OT, Raise at employer'sdiscretion. Percentage of health care offered after probationary period.Complete various maintenance and landscape install services of high quality inan efficient, professional manner. Operate landscape related equipment suchas skid steer, loaders, sod cutters, rototillers and any other necessaryequipment. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: performingroutine maintenance duties such as mow, pull weeds, trim shrubs, debrisremoval and excavation, grading, haul landscape material, sodinstallation, and repair, shovel snow as needed, and other tasksassociated with landscape maintenance and installation. Drug testing duringemployment for cause;Pre-hire background check required. All drug testing isperformed without regard to an employee's citizenship or immigrationstatus, and all testing is paid for by the company. All background checksare performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2B workers, and all fees arepaid for by the company. Able to lift 50lbs. Repetitive bending or stooping,able to stand on feet for long hours, working in hot/cold/humid weather.3 months experience required as landscape laborer. Employer may make payrolldeductions at employee's request, Employer facilitates correspondingdeductions for available health benefits. A single workweek will be used tocompute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by lawwill be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools,supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directlyfor initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitmentto the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they arenot reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion ofthe work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer willprovide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed towork, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employmentwith another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for thedistances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. H2Bworkers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, & other related fees, including thosemandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
