　　The Molecular Microbiology department at the Center for Esoteric Testing offers testing for infectious diseases using molecular methods. Assays performed in the Molecular Microbiology area include Qualitative and Quantitative PCR, with the overall goal of providing results that can be used for the diagnosis and management of a wide range of infections using real-time PCR detection of nucleic acid.

　　The working schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

　　Job Duties/Responsibilities

　　Supervision of up to 13+ technical personnel Overseeing day to day workflow and operations Overseeing NuSwab BV/CAN, HSV and MPUP testingManaging specimen workflow, testing, and resulting Handling instrument maintenance Conducting inventory Managing pending's and audits Writing technical documents, SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) Troubleshooting and performing root/cause analysis resolutions on failed tests Other duties as assigned by management

　　Requirements:

　　Must have a BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or other related science 6 years of clinical laboratory testing experience required Previous leadership experience desired Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) Must be able to work in a team oriented environment Excellent in time management and organization Color blindness testing required upon hire
