Thismay be a single full time benefited position, 40 in-season, 30off-season; or be 2 part-time positions, on an as needed basis.
Directly reports to: Director of Hospitality and Programming, lead byChef
Supervises: N/A
Essential Functions:
I. Meal Services
A. Arrive 45 minutes prior to a full breakfast, 90 minutes prior tolunch, and / or 2 hours prior to dinner to assist the chef with foodpreparation
B. Prepare all hot and cold drinks for guests
C. Set up tables and chairs for guests in the dining room andchapel/conference room
II. Cleaning
A. Ensure that the dining room is clean before and after meal services
B. Do the dishes, pots, and pans
C. Maintain the supply of clean rags and aprons for the kitchen staff
D. Mop floors and assist the Chef in the close-down procedures for thekitchen
E. Maintain Clean and Organized Storage areas
F. Help to prepare the Boucher Building in the spring for first retreatguests
III. Hospitality
A. Operate the Food Service register
B. Occasionally, greet retreat guests as they arrive and give them theirkeys and instructions
C. Answer all visitor questions
IV. Other
A. Help the housekeeping department with resetting cabins during thebusiest times or when a quick reset is needed
B. Help the Gift Shop / Welcome Center staff to keep the downstairs andHistory Rooms clean
C. Fill in running the Gift Shop register, when needed
D. Other duties as assigned to support a delightful guest experience.
