Position Summary:
Country Key Accounts refer to country key customers that the entire organization must manage. The Key Account Manager represents the company and acts as a trusted advisor. Through this, we aim to be recognized by customers as an advisory business partner that offers solutions from a simple supplier.
Building long-term collaborative relationships with key customers (In particular, regional national bio clusters) is very important for continued business growth and sustainability. KAM, which will play a key role, specifically performs the following roles:
Key Responsibilities
Country Key Account Manager's product lines include Thermo Fisher Scientific total value proposition. It's the entire product of the business. We also strengthen our partnerships with customers from a long-term perspective through the six management points below.
Customer Experience Management
The Key Account Manager responds exclusively to realize the Total Value Proposition and mobilizes company-wide resources, including management, to provide a high-level customer experience and provides regular technical support based on customer issues and problem solving . You must provide seminars, training, pilot programs prior to new product launch, etc.
Opportunity Management
In order to discover and manage various business opportunities, we closely communicate with each division about the information shared by customers and support various requests from customers, including responding to RFIs (requests for information) and RFQs (requests for quotation) . We need to make it possible for it to be commercialized as soon as possible.
Offering Management
We provide additional offerings based on customer needs discovered through thorough follow-up management after product sales. This includes providing new products or services to key customers for free or joint development. We must play a role in making customers realize that they are being treated differently through differentiated offerings compared to regular customers. Follow-up management of sold products includes establishing a system that can respond at any time.
Price Management ( Price Management)
Core customers are customers who have purchased a lot of products or whose purchase amount is larger than other customers, even for a single item. You must create standards based on customer grade or performance and provide emergency procurement or differentiated marketing, sales, and technical support to make them want to continue doing business even if the unit price is high. Additionally, you must operate an incentive program only for key customers and develop and execute a strategy using remarketing companies such as MRO.
Performance Management
addition to achieving financial goals, you must set KPIs such as repurchase rate and customer loyalty to continuously collaborate with divisions and increase the probability of turning opportunities into results.
Project Management
The Key Account Manager not only collaborates within the team, but also establishes an organic cooperation system with functional departments such as marketing, BD, and SCM, and acts as a project manager who leads projects within the account .
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in Life science market.In-depth business, product, domain knowledge across life scienceCustomer-centric mind and excellent relationship building skills.Analytical mind with attitude for problem solving.Proactive way of working with a strong "can do" attitudeInterpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.Bio cluster workers or graduates from specific regions (Jeolla-do, Gangwon-do, Gyeongsang-do, etc.) are preferred.
