SummaryAs a Key Account Manager in the Sales Department at DSV, you will be responsible for managing and growing the company's relationships with key clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements. You will also be responsible for meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key clientsIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clientsDeveloping and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirementsMeeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the companyConducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvementCollaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clientsManaging client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulationsProviding regular sales reports to management
Educational background / Work experienceA Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is requiredA Master's degree in Business or Sales is preferred5-7 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on transportation and logistics, is preferred
Strong sales and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong customer service orientationAnalytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of transportation and logistics regulations and laws is preferred
Preferred QualificationsExperience in managing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred
Language skillsFluent in English, both written and verbal
Computer LiteracyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
For this position, the expected base pay is: $64,500- $97,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.DSV does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
