What do you contribute?
Welcome to the Rail Infrastructure business unit, where you will shape innovative projects for the future as a Junior System Manager (f/m/d). In this role, you will play a decisive role in the development of customised solutions (hardware and software) for our global customer projects. You will not only rely on technical expertise, but also actively shape the interface to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
You develop specific designs for customer projects based on the individual project requirements.
Also, you design specific control center solutions for projects in accordance with customer, product, safety and security requirements.
Together with your colleagues (f/m/d), you define the software and hardware architecture, manuals, and test procedures.
Moreover, you implement, test and commission the complex hardware and software solution with the support of the team.
You take part in technical meetings with partners, customers, and other companies.
In addition, you communicate and collaborate effectively with various technical and mobility departments.
What do you bring along?
You hold a university degree (Bachelor) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable specialization.
Also, you have initial professional experience in system engineering, system management or technical project management.
You have gained this experience in the railway industry, ideally in the field of control and safety technology.
As a result, you have gained your first practical experience of relevant standards (e.g., CENELEC) and development processes (e.g., GUIDE process).
You impress us with your solid knowledge of Linux, SUSE, and virtual machines (VM).
You have a very good command of English for working with colleagues (f/m/d) and customers all over the world. German language skills are an advantage.
