About the Role
Location: Slovenia #LI-Hybrid
As a Junior SC Performance Manager you will be responsible for Supply Chain (SC) Performance Management system by controlling and improving of SC processes and by monitoring a portfolio of SC projects in accordance with legislation, internal rules, good practices and business objectives.
Join our team as a Junior SC Performance Manager and take charge of our Supply Chain (SC) Performance Management system.
Your key responsibilities:
• Lead, guide and provide supply point decision evaluations (Make, Buy, Transfer, Launch, Divest & Prune decisions), ensure alignment with overall NTO strategy and present cases at supply point governance committees or Board (SPC/SPB)
• Support network optimisation activities with specific regard to major expansion activities, major site reduction activities, site divestments, site integrations and site exits evaluating impact of supply, quality, HSE, regulatory, people and financial implications
• Support specific items to annual platform strategic plan, in alignment with Global Manufacturing & API Category strategy. Run required evaluations and articulate the platform strategy and strategic actions in a respective plan. (e.g. API Category Strategy)
• Lead assigned platform strategic projects, and ensure milestones are on track, and within agreed scope, quality, time and cost and ensure in alignment with relevant key stakeholders
• Be the Single Point of Contact for all strategic planning activities incl. BD&L, for assigned sites / technologies / portfolios for respective area for APIs
• Actively present in supply point evaluation meetings
• • Support Novartis Manufacturing Manual: Practices related to ESO Chemicals & AI in particular Principle 5 with the Practices 14 ("Professional External Supplier Operations"), Practice 15 ("Supplier Performance Management"), Practice 16 ("Supplier Footprint") and Practice 17 ("External Supply Relationship Management")
• Responsible to manage the API (chemicals) related SPC process and meetings. Support and provide guidance to the organisation, specifically the respective Strategy Managers and ESO BD&L, to ensure that all supply point requests are approved by the SPC. Ensures alignment of the ESO & AICO SPC with the SPO. Responsible for defining and maintaining the ESO Supply Point Approval process.

Role Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
• University degree in Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Economics or other related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Experience in Supply Chain and Data analysis.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
We offer permanent employment for a period of one year, with 6 months of probation period.
