THE ROLE
The Junior Sales and Marketing executive is responsible for producing and nurturing leads as well as advancing the sales process through prospecting exploration. The individual will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through a host of different channels including telemarketing, digital and social selling, and other outreach vehicles. They will proactively follow-up on all marketing originated leads from multi-touch campaigns.
This individual will also to a degree support marketing activities including face-to-face events, webinars and general marketing campaigns which will offer the opportunity to liaise and interact with prospects.
This role would support/report into the Marketing lead for Northern Europe with constant engagement and links into the local sales team as this role straddles both marketing and sales.
Remote role to be based in either Belgium or the Netherlands with opportunities to flexibly work from offices in Nieuwegein, NL or Brussels, BE.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct outreach and follow-up on marketing originated/derived leads generated through external channels namely, telemarketing, digital and social marketing/selling and email marketing effortsCarry out exploratory research and identify potential target accounts and decision makers within themCollaborate with sales and presales teams to hone best sales approaches and anglesCreate and deliver marketing qualified opportunities that can be handed off to sales and can be moved forward based on established/predefined criteriaHelp prepare for and attend trade shows, exhibits, and other events where there is an opportunity to interact/meet prospectsSupport marketing requirements wherein required including events, webinars and campaign activityLeverage market insights and intent data to target the right prospect organizations at the right timeGet involved in local customer communities and attend industry events all in the means to garner more prospect conversations
REQUIREMENTS
University or college degreeIdeally 1-2 years' experience in a business development roleFluent in Flemish as well as EnglishKnowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.Strong communication skills (the gift of the gab)Strong problem identification and objections handling skillsExceptional verbal communication and presentation skillsExcellent listening skills.Strong written communication skills.Self- motivated, with high energy and an enthusiasmAbility to work individually and as part of a team.High level of integrity and work ethicDigitally savvy: well versed in platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter
