We are looking for: Junior Project Manager- VIE Contract (W/M)

Junior Project Manager is a key member of the Flu and Pandemic Readiness Program, a key strategic capital project on the Sanofi Toronto Campus. This program is building a new end-to-end vaccine manufacturing facility including design, construction, qualification, and validation. The Junior Project Manager will support the End to End Project Manager in many aspects of project management associated with this important initiative.
Responsibilities:
Based on the defined activities/deliverables, the Project Manager with collaboration with E2E Project Manager monitors, and controls adherence to the plan (schedule, cost, resource plan)Anticipates gaps or deviation, identifies discrepancies, and proposes remediation plan as applicable through robust financial and business analyses to explain variances versus targetCo-facilitate monthly schedule performance review sessionsFacilitate quarterly updates of the Project Risk Register and track the associated mitigation plans, Coordinates risks identification, quantitative & qualitative risk analysis, definition, implementation, and monitoring of mitigation plans. Monitors and controls the Opportunity Tracker to ensure data is up to dateSupport the development and upkeep of project metrics, tracking methods, visualization and reporting frequency, leveraging digital toolsWork with the cross-functional project team members to ensure that resources are anticipated, planned/budgeted, and allocated to meet the demands of the project planSupport project change management and communication practices/initiativesLead team meetings and facilitate cross-functional workshops required for effective project coordinationCollect, enter into Planisware (Project Portfolio management software), and maintain / update all information (cost, schedule, resources, One page summary) from workstreamsUpdate and maintain key project documents (Project Execution Plan, Project Control Plan, Project Documentation Plan, Project Charter, Project Governance, etc.) on regular basis to reflect past events, current tasks and future strategies, including SharePoint administrationEffectively communicate the key project documents to all relevant stakeholders, including all existing and new project team membersDevelop presentations and manage meeting minutes for key project meetings (Steering Committees, project control meetings, schedule performance meetings, risk management, resource management, etc.)Work in close cooperation with the project management work-stream controllers as well as the project workstream leaders
Requirements:
University degree such as Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering or Business studies / PMP and PMI Agile certification or equivalent is a plus1-3 years of experience in managing/coordinating projects in challenging environment preferably in pharmaceutical industry and/or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Project Management processes; project schedules, project cost estimation and forecastingProven track-record in delivering results and value in an organizationDemonstrated the ability to transfer raw data into reports and presentations while highlighting the key takeawaysDemonstrated experience in Agile / Lean project management and Scrum agile methodology and visual managementExperience in project management (respect project constraint such as time, cost, scope, quality to achieve project success)Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office applications and efficient use of company tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint, SAP, and Klaxoon, etc. with the ability to adapt to new tools, as neededExperience in MS Power BI is a big plusOutstanding organizational skills, time management and dealing with conflicting prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills (with demonstrated stakeholder management, conflict management / resolution in group dynamic)Experience in project risks management (risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, remediation plan development and monitoring)Attention to details, result oriented, ability to work independently, and in a team environment
