General Information

　　Hitachi Energy is seeking an EMS Business Consultant for its Houston, Texas location or remote locations throughout the United States or Canada. This role is responsible for supporting the local Professional Service Organization identifying the most appropriate technical engineering solution.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide technical knowledge, experience, and support in EMS (Energy Management Systems) to the Professional Service Organization.Configure and deploy EMS applications (e.g., power flow, state estimator, contingency analysis, volt-var control).Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to Network Manager EMS platform. Work with customers on EMS deployment. Identify the most appropriate technical solutions for Network Manager EMS.Provide technical responses/guidance to customer's EMS-related questions and requests.

　　Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.Familiar with general software programing languages.Basic knowledge/understanding of Electrical Engineering.A "can do" attribute and willingness to learn and figure out an engineering solution for every challenge.
