A Day in The Life of a Journeyman Electrician:
Our journeyman electricians will work in a wide variety of projects across the tri-state region. Whether it is public schools that educate our future generations or water treatment facilities that protect the health of our nation, our electricians are building a better America! Our construction crews will work in the local region from our two offices in Youngstown OH and Columbus OH, and our service crews can be local or travel anywhere in the tri-state area. We service numerous customers across the area so there is always an opportunity to do something different.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Completed an accredited 3, 4, or 5-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
Proficiency in conduit bending, reading blueprints, terminating cable, installing, and troubleshooting control wires from drawings, and roughing in electrical components.
Experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction.
Ability to maintain industry installation standards set by the NEC.
History of performing work in an efficient and quality manner.
A valid driver's license and will be able to pass drug testing and background checks to work in public schools and facilities.
Ability to pass a physical and reference check.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
Ability to climb all types of ladders, and constantly be mobbing on your feet.
