POSITION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for strategically managing retailer business and driving sales performance of Jo Malone London in the UK across online retail partners and pure play sites.
You will be working closely with multiple departments across the brand and the business. The role will encompass driving and managing our retailer ecommerce relationships ensuring each account maximises sales target through innovation, brand exposure, and a strong trade. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders analysing brand performance and identifying opportunities to launch new initiatives and improve online shopping experience for Jo Malone London across retailers and pure play websites.
You will be an expert in your field, leading and inspiring the Jo Malone Online Team to drive best in class customer experience through brand storytelling, differentiated product assortment and commercial tactics
Alongside the Jo Malone London Online Manager you will deliver cohesive online strategy.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
Trading, stock and sales
Define and drive the strategy and deliver sales for the Jo Malone London UK across online retailer.com and pure play sites. Work collaboratively with wider brand team to support with forecast and re-phase sale estimates for each online retailer. Compile regular reports and analysis of Brand performance across retailers and pure players to maintain a pulse on the business and identify trends and opportunities. Manage forecasting gift quantities & strategy per retailer.com; including online exclusives. Work with wider brand team on sampling programmes for recruitment & retention initiatives. Contribute to post campaign analysis decks for all key launches, and peak trading periods in order to fully understand performance and key insights to form action for future activities. Share findings with wider teams and in weekly online trade meetings.
Planning & Collaboration
Meet with National Accounts & Marketing Teams on a weekly basis to develop, maintain and feedback on strategy and operations for all retailers. Lead weekly status calls and monthly planning meetings with retailers to ensure alignment and on-time execution of key initiatives to drive towards joint sales targets. Work with marketing teams to ensure 360 brand approach to all activations online and in store. Build robust marketing strategies for each retailer sites, develop new programs and content plans in order to deliver sales targets. Own the retailer.com P&L and investment planning. Monitor retailer.com business to achieve weekly sales targets, tracking individual accounts monthly sales goals and securing best initiatives as need to meet sales targets. Partner with National Sales team and Supply Chain to ensure optimal stock levels for each retailer Partner with retailers to gain detailed insight on onsite retailer.com analytics including click through, traffic, sales & ROI Lead development of new online content, in collaboration with brand site and marketing teams. Provide on-going guidance and support with strategic program development and tactical execution to maximise retailer.com and pure play sales for the brand. Conduct daily site-walks for key retail partners, raising issues where necessary Manage the day to day relationship with online retailers and pure plays, liaising on sales performance, stock requirements, site updates and content sign offs. Monitor competitor activity. Manage retailer.com and pure players strategy meetings and post strategy meetings actions & follow ups.
Team Management
Lead and inspire the Brand Online Team. Coach direct reports giving regular feedback on performance as well as ad-hoc training sessions to allow the direct reports to develop and progress. Lead by example and cultivate a supportive and engaging working environment.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE
Strong relationship building skills. Experience with Concession business models and practices Detail oriented, ability to multi-task. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Understanding of digital marketing.
