Position Description:
We are seeking an AWS/JAVA Full Stack Developer with Angular or REACT and strong spring boot, Microservices experience to help migrate large-scale on-prim workflow to AWS using a step function and lambda. Candidate must have strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills. This is a hybrid position located at the client site in Urbana, TX or at one of our CGI delivery centers across the US.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.
Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Advanced proficiency in coding in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular or REACT technologies
5+ years of experience with several frameworks including some of the following: Spring, Struts, Grails, Hibernate, JPA
Experience with build tools like Maven, GitLab
Unit testing/Mockito experience
Knowledge of basic Python programming.
Understanding of traditional Relational Data (SQL, Data Structure)
Hands-on experience working in AWS environment
Hands-on experience in building API microservices
AWS certification desired
Python skill desired
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,700.00 - $146,900.00. CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through February 22, 2024.
