We are looking for an experienced, Tokyo-based communicator to join our Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Communications team.
A strong passion for technology, influencer relations and storytelling, and the ability to navigate a matrix organization are strong attributes in the ideal candidate. As a Tech Communications specialist, they will support Intel's technical media engagement and storytelling in Japan, working directly with technology media, ecosystem partners, customers and internal stakeholders to tell Intel's technology leadership story. Working closely with the Japan Communication manager, this role will also engage with a diverse matrix of colleagues and experts across Intel's product teams and business units as well as regional marketing, communications and sales organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Global Communications Group, they will be a champion of the corporate narrative and expected to apply it as well as promote its use with stakeholders.Plan and execute our Client, Graphics and datacenter products focused communications in Japan, partnering with HQ and regional sales, country communications and marketing teams.Think strategically and play an integral role in the creation of integrated communication campaigns that highlight Intel value and innovation for enthusiasts, commercial and consumer audiences in Japan.Help develop and execute competitive PR, review and launch programs for Client (including Gaming), Graphics and datacenter products.Work with ISV and gaming teams to leverage key software partnerships.Evangelize Intel technologies to enthusiast media, influencers, and new media outlets.Effectively collaborate with product groups, technical marketing, and benchmarking groups to identify compelling stories that resonate with Tech media.Be a source of knowledge and a trusted technical advisor to colleagues.
Qualifications
6-8 years of experience in media or communications, in-house or with an agency.Prior experience in the technology industryExcellent oral or written communications in Japanese and EnglishStrong media relations

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
