Description General Purpose and Scope of Position: The primary role of the Janitor is to clean buildings, remove debris, and keep areas neat and tidy. Vacuum floors, carpets, empty trash receptacles. Key Skills and Abilities Include: Ability to manage your time efficiently Work well when supervisors are not present Ability to list at least 25 pounds Handle basic cleaning and other janitorial work Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies Able to use basic cleaning equipment Key Personal Attributes Include: Driven; self-motivated Strong sense of integrity and accountability Great Attendance Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include: Maintain facility cleanliness General cleaning of buildings and keeping them maintained and in good condition Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Cleaning and stock restroom Ensure doors are locked after hours Collect and dispose of trash Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision Follow and complete cleaning schedule Additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor Generous Benefits In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $14.28v- $18.09 per hour.
