Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President in New York, New York
Deploy, monitor, maintain, develop, document and support IT systems and software application services. Formulate and deploy strategic plans for providing cost-efficient technology solutions and services. Identify service improvement opportunities by leveraging incident management reviews, stability trends, Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other sources to identify areas of improvement and drive continual improvement of services and solutions. Work with the operational teams to create a repeatable operational readiness process ensuring that all applications and systems are monitored to the correct level in accordance with the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) process. Work with Infrastructure and Application Developers stakeholders to enhance services, information, automation and knowledge platform.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Information Technology, or a related degree plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Technology Lead, or a related role. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, and RDBMS; Relational Database management systems; Apache Kafka; Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, TWS and Fileaid; Load Balancing; App Resiliency; site reliability engineering; Backlog grooming, User story estimation, standups, and scrums; application support for Stock Plan; creating operational readiness processes that ensure accordance with the Software Delivery Lifecycle process; and working cross-functionally with internal groups, including Operations unit. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Splunk, ElasticStack, AppDynamics, Apica, Extrahop, Heap Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
