As an IT Walk-up Technician...
Your main responsibility will be to provide onsite, in-person IT support services for customers to include troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity and mobile device issues, and perform account administration tasks in a fast paced walk-up help desk.You will research, analyze, and diagnose problems with client systems using detailed processes where available and best practices where not.You will provide appropriate documentation on services provided and status updates as needed.You may be required to drive APL vehicles in the course of day-to-day operations.You will provide other duties, as assigned.Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor 's degree; or in lieu of a degree, at least 4 years of a combination of education and relevant IT-related work experience.Have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for clients to independently resolve widely varying problems using current job knowledge and using research and external resourcesHave hardware, software and networking troubleshooting experience -- hardware experience must include laptops and mobile devices, software experience includes Windows, Macintosh and Microsoft Office, networking experience to include understanding TCP/IP and DNS, Active Directory and ExchangeAre an excellent communicator, highly motivated and have excellent customer services skills with the ability to work with all levels of staffAre willing and able to support operations and work necessary hours to complete critical tasks and/or troubleshooting and work in a fast paced walk-up space, in-person with customersPossess a valid state of residence driver's license. The selected candidate will undergo a motor vehicle driving record review.Are able to obtain Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
