Job Description
A dynamic and rapidly growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a System Administrator is responsible for day-to-day technology administration of computer systems and technology support activities for end users within the Information technology department. This role requires 5 days a week of onsite support in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves managing and administering computer systems, networking and telephony devices, conference room hardware / software, badging access administration and end user devices. The role also involves providing end user support for escalated issues that require advanced troubleshooting.
Essential functions:
1. Administering Windows, VMWare, Citrix, Active Directory and Office 365 environment
2. Installing, configuring, and supporting end user devices
3. User Administration activities
4. Ensuring security through access controls and backups
5. Administration and Support for networking & telephony devices
6. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
7. Maintain onsite network equipment and ISP services.
8. MDF / IDF equipment inventory management
9. Print Server and Print equipment maintenance
10. Troubleshooting advanced and escalated help desk tickets
11. Security Operations support activities
12. IT Service Management responsibilities for assigned Service areas incident management, problem tickets and change tickets
13. Administering assigned SaaS applications
14. Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
* 4 year college degree or equivalent
* 5+ Years total experience with at least 2 years in system and end user device administration activities / end user device management and remaining as end user help desk functions.
* Experience administering Office 365, VMware, Windows and / or Linux server environments.
* Internal Customer and Service Orientation * Cloud
* MCSE Certification
* Network+ Certification
* ITIL Foundations null
