Labcorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a IT Specialist . Labcorp specializes in diagnostics, drug development, and technology-enabled solutions to improve health and improve lives.
The IT Specialist will join our team and provide comprehensive IT support to our labs in Tulsa, OK. As the onsite IT support specialist, you will be responsible for:
Understanding various network connectivity types for devices, including facilities equipment, cameras, WAP, desktops, laptops, switches, printers, copiers, laboratory instruments, VOIP phones, TV conferencing, TV signage, etc.
Collaborating with vendors for installation inquiries and on-site directions, such as ISP installers for circuits, CAT6 installers, TV installers, and copier vendors.
Serving as smart hands for IT hardware installations, ensuring proper validation and functionality.
Demonstrating knowledge of network security, with additional proficiency in Laboratory instruments connectivity, specifically TCP/IP & Serial.
Providing Windows 10 desktop support both on-site and remotely.
Installing and configuring software in accordance with security and operations specifications.
Placing orders for IT-related hardware and managing asset management upon receipt.
Safely receiving and securing IT hardware until installation.
Ensuring compliance with security and privacy policies for networks and computer systems.
Performing troubleshooting activities to diagnose and resolve issues, including parts replacement, debugging, reimage, etc.
Managing tickets for issues and projects using ServiceNow.
Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 15% within the local area between sites; company car available for business use.
Valid driver's license is a must.
Capability to lift IT hardware up to 50lbs and proficiency in climbing ladders.
