What You Will Do
The IT Senior Manager, Manufacturing Support - US will lead Manufacturing and GLO end user facing services across the Stryker Enterprise in North America, as part of the Global Mfg/GLO support service.
This role will be accountable to build and lead an integrated support model ensuring oversight of end-to-end support for all Stryker Manufacturing and GLO plants in the Americas region. They will direct a team of internal and 3rd party personnel and will work closely with senior leaders in the IT organization to help manage support escalations, demand, and change, while ensuring a world class user experience. This will be done in close partnership with the IT GQO Business Partners, IT Service leads and GQO Service leads.
Success in this position will be attained by driving operational excellence and ensuring ongoing development of personnel. They should excel in management of operational, financial, and talent metrics. The role encompasses managing direct reports, vendors, support ecosystem, relationships with support teams (internal IT and Business support functions), and communications with the users.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Fosters IT Manufacturing/GLO service transformation across the Americas region.Implements and maintains a Manufacturing and GLO Service Model strategy that:Aligns with Stryker IT support model and GQO KPIsProvides shopfloor point of contact for escalations, changes, and day-to-day and Major Incident IT support.Partners with GQO business and IT to facilitate continuous innovation aligned with defined standards for lifecycle management, security, and support.Ensures service excellence and discipline across all Stryker divisions through monitoring services, continuous improvement, and embracing the Voice of the CustomerResponsible for status reporting (Monthly reports, ad-hoc updates, daily updates on critical items) and driving required action plans.Responsible for estimation, planning and execution of communications-centric programs and in support of other initiatives.Communicates and build trustful, productive relationships with all levels of the organization as well as with other IS teams and vendors.Works across multiple IT groups to ensure platforms and services are integrated and efficiently operated.As a member of the End User Services team, lead, and support cross-functional assignmentsWorks with project managers on global projects with a focus on technical design, risk assessment, costs, timing, and End User experience
What You Will Need
BS in Computer Science or equivalent education required.ITIL certification strongly desiredMinimum 10 years of professional experience requiredMinimum of 6 years managerial and 6 years of hands-on experience in leading IS based services, preferably in manufacturing/GxP environment requiredExperience managing and working with external 3rd party service providers.Experience in leading global, complex programs and projects (including financials, governance, team engagement, RFP, Org Change Management, executive communications) is required.Experience in driving process discipline, establishing frameworks for end-to-end delivery of services.Experience in global environment, Life Sciences, Converged networking, Client based technologies, and Project Management are strong plus.Cross Group Collaboration, Strong Communication Skills, and Relationship Management
