About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an IT Audit Manager who will support the audit coverage of Wells Fargo's core technology environments (e.g., Network, Mainframe, Midrange, Distributed, Database, Data Center, etc.), Technology Resiliency & Disaster Recovery, and IT Service Operations. This position is an individual contributor role and will not have direct reports.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team of audit staff to resolve highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long term
Lead defined audits within one or more segments of the Audit Plan
Ensure audit engagements are risk based, and executed according to Wells Fargo Internal Audit policies and guidance
Assist in planning and organizing work in an annual cycle and project cycle
Supervise and oversee assigned audits
Provide timely feedback, coaching and monitoring of audit work and staff
Develop and maintain solid business relationships within Wells Fargo Internal Audit and with teams across Wells Fargo, and other stakeholders
Required Qualifications, US:
7+ years of Audit or Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
Audit experience within one of the following areas: Information security, IT governance, risk management or application security
Strong understanding of Technology Resiliency & Disaster Recovery, Network Services (including network security), and Data Center Management.
3+ years of IT Audit experience
Experience at a like-sized financial institution or accounting firm
A BS/BA degree or higher in a related field such as Accounting, Financial, Computer Science, or Information Systems/Management Information Systems
Certification in one or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, CISM or other technology audit related certifications
Knowledge of IT, information security, and control frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework and 800-53, CIS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, FFIEC IT Examination Handbooks, COBIT, FedRAMP, ISO 2700x, ITIL).
Experience with Distributed server platform management (Windows, UNIX Operating Systems)
Experience with Mainframe platform management (z/OS) and Midrange platform management (iSeries)
Experience database management experience (Oracle, DB2, SQL, etc.)
Familiarity with server, network, database, and application security hardening
Experience with Change, problem, and incident management
Experience with Service Asset and Configuration Management
Experience with IT Governance
Experience performing data analysis and analytics
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools
Strong understanding of financial regulatory environment
Understanding of banking products, services, and technologies
Experience leading and providing feedback to staff on audit projects or engagements
Experience with Issue Validation and Remediation
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
