SUMMARY
Project coordinator intern is responsible for day-to-day management of one or more enterprise-level projects through Dolby IT's project framework. The position is within IT enterprise Applications team and is responsible for delivering projects across a range of application platforms including SAP, Salesforce.com, Java, .NET custom applications, Atlassian and others. The position will need to work collaboratively with functional business area and IT partners to achieve project objectives. This is a highly visible role with opportunity to work with leaders across different departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive project lifecycle milestones from initiation through project closure and advocate change management (maintain project site, document repository, timelines, issue logs etc.)
• Work in an ambiguous environment supporting various stakeholders
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Prepare project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as SmartSheets, Excel and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project
• Help with internal process improvements; remove gaps, across multiple teams and functions. Document changes in PMLC as needed
• Coordinate and assist with regularly scheduled meetings with core teams, communicate project status, resolve project issues by working with teams, customers and others.
• Champion project management best practices and provide guidance to BSAs on standards and procedures
• Assist Project Manager in managing and maintaining project portfolio and the enterprise project roadmap
• Assist in the tracking of Project Gate Reviews
• May lead a project team of moderate scope
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of Process Documentation (process flow charting, documenting processes)
• Knowledge of project methodology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Computer Systems, Business Administration, or related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to full-time Monday-Friday for 6 months starting from May/June 2024.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $31-36/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
