IT Project Manager
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Job Summary:The IT Project Manager will be adept at managing multiple mid-tier application projects, typically ranging from 1 to 4 months in duration, and/or overseeing one or more large-scale projects. The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in defining project objectives and scope based on input from key stakeholders and business partners, ensuring successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets.
Salary Range: $89,267 to $99,186
Required Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree In IT/Business/Project Management or combination of education/ 10 years' work experienceMinimum of 5 years' experience managing IT projectsMinimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role leading and managing a team
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Skilled Microsoft Office 365 userPMP or similar project management certification preferredFamiliarity and experience with multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)Proficiency in using JIRA for project management and issue trackingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical users
Job Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timeliness, and resource requirements. Coordinate activities, ensuring adherence to scope, objectives, and timelines. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to gather requirements and expectations. Communicate progress, risks and issues effectively to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Methodology and Certification: Utilize and adapt project management methodologies to suit project requirements. Possess of work towards PMP or a similar certification to enhance project management expertise.JIRA Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in using JIRA for project management and issue tracking. Leverage JIRA capabilities to streamline workflows and enhance team collaboration.Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
