Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Pharma Architect to join a large pharmaceutical client. This role will be fully remote but requires an onsite visit once a month to attend high level meetings with stakeholders. This role will be within the Global Development Systems organization and specifically joining the Development Operations and Portfolio Management (DOPM) team. This architect will report directly to the Head of Solution Architecture and will work cross functionally with Regulatory & Quality Compliance, and Global Medical Affairs teams. They will be responsible for operating solutions for any and all IT systems that are built for the Global Development organization utilizing Veeva Vault. The architect coming into this role must have past experience designing IT systems for pharmaceutical clients specifically within clinical and they need to have excellent communication skills. They will be working directly with 1-2 offshore counterparts, acting as their lead, assigning responsibilities, and leveraging them as resources. They will be recommending risk-based solutions to solve business needs based on company policy. This architect also must have familiarity with architecture frameworks/processes (ex. TOGAF) and be able to help define patterns and other architectural accelerators. This architect will be the face of all stakeholder interaction for the team, so good problem solving, and verbal communication skills are vital.
Skills and Requirements
10+ years experience as an architect within the pharmaceutical industry
5+ years of recent clinical pharma architecture and design experience
Managing audits, inspections, vendor oversight, and issues management (SSNs, CAPA, and Risk Management)
Strong recent Veeva Vault platform experience/ knowledge (Veeva RIM, Veeva Submissions, Archive, QMS, Quality Docs, labeling)
Experience partnering with offshore teams
Strong experience communicating with high level stakeholders Experience building IT systems for Global Development specific product solutions null
