Job Overview
We are seeking an IT Operations Analyst II to join our TEIS Organization located in Fremont, CA USA. This position's primary responsibility is for Customer Service through supporting user's PC's and other mobility devices. Other responsibilities include device configuration, troubleshooting problems according to TEIS policies, processes, and procedures. This position will also require participation in digital factory initiative, departmental project work as needed, will help develop and implement a systematic approach to IT user education, system implementations and enhancements, and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Reports to IT Leader or IT Supervisor.
• Supports hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance. Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and hardware installations.
• Mobility device and PC support
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots employee issues with personal computers and related systems.
• Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop, or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access.
• Builds strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas.
• Delivers results that may directly impact organizational goals and objectives.
• Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to the appropriate technical personnel.
• Comply with IT and Business policies, procedures, and service guidelines.
• Frequently interacts with supervisors, peers, business unit and operations leaders, customers and other internal/external departments, interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others.
What your background should look like:
Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:
• 2-5 years of professional experience on computer support.
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills is necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Works in a team environment, shares knowledge, contributes to processes.
• Ability to maintain favorable customer relations, can deal comfortably with senior managers.
• Experience in SAP, Digital Factory and shop floor systems are desirable.
Educational Required/Desired:
• Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent work experience is a must

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,136-$145,704 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
