IT Manager of Application Services ? Digital Signage
This position will be responsible for the management, formulation, integration, deployment, and support processes for Digital Signage. This includes the enhancement of strategic IT programs in support of critical Line of business initiatives.
Develop a list of detailed services for and work intimately with the Growth and Marketing teams to develop a cohesive digital engagement strategy and roadmap. Organize, schedule and directly conduct the training sessions with the field. Outline a plan to improve the timeliness of signage integration.
Job Responsibilities
? Principal responsibility for management of all development-related activities
?Lead the function to advance and promote Digital Signage within the business
?Develop a list of detailed services for the business
?Work intimately with the Growth and Marketing teams to develop a cohesive digital engagement strategy and roadmap
?Create a plan to enhance adoption and fully leverage the capabilities of the digital assets and tools
?Define and develop a set of reusable templates and models for front line associates in all LOBs
?Cooperatively create a plan for the use of social media and other dynamic content
?Lay out a blueprint and best practices to implement a scalable deployment process for digital signage
?Assist in developing a profile of client characteristics which helps us put the right type of tech into an account
?Devise a plan for standing up a digital asset repository
?Develop a comprehensive training plan, including courseware, CMS best practices, webinars and content
?Organize, schedule and directly conduct the training sessions with the field
?Outline a plan to improve the timeliness of integration
?Assist in creating a wiring diagram and roadmap to enhance or create new paths of integration
?Manage the vendor and support relationship with our various digital signage partners
?Administer and manage a support and enhancement queue
?Cultivate a community of collaboration on digital engagement ideas
?Outline a process to proactively determine when digital signage is in place but not in use
?Cooperatively define a set of metrics and routinely measure the effectiveness of the program
?Assist the growth teams with innovative ideas to help win key accounts and contract renewals
?Assist and coordinate in matters of deployment
REPORTING and MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE:
?This position reports to the VP IT, Application Services Consumer Technology
?This individual may oversee 1 or more direct reports.
TRAVEL:
?Approximately 5 - 10%
Qualifications
?Requires 10+ years of management experience in a Leadership capacity, preferably in a corporate IT setting
?Requires 5+ years? experience in the management of Digital Signage in a complex business environment.
?Experienced in common Networking and Security Concepts in the support of Web Applications
?Proven experience leading large and complex projects.
?Required to possess a balanced perspective on strategic, tactical and operational issues.
?Proven ability to comfortably interface with all levels of the organization -- technical, functional, and business teams, senior leadership, third-parties, operations and regional management.
?Responsible for analyzing and developing the roadmap for solutions, taking the long-term total cost of ownership, speed to market and business competitive advantage into account.
?Proven ability to select top talent and create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, and continuous learning.
?Problem solving, relationship management skills are all critical to this role.
?Familiarity with the hospitality, food and facilities industries is a plus.
EDUCATION:
?The successful candidate will possess a bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university, ideally with a concentration in IT or related discipline.
