Job Overview:
Assist with the monthly security awareness training program.
Contribute to technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development.
Tracks and manages action plans for the resolution of issues identified during assessments and audits.
Works with other departments within IT to obtain the required evidence for SOX controls.
Consult with vendors, perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems.
Provide strategic and technical recommendations following identification of vulnerabilities in operating systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Evaluate security controls and recommend corrective actions to mitigate technical risks.
Maintains open communication and positive working relationships with staff.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Degree in IT with a 3.0 GPA
Must be currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or Computer Information Systems. Must have completed at least 2 years of college.
In 3rd or 4th year of college studies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding and knowledge of security industry best practice.
Knowledge of infrastructure and application security technologies.
Looking for candidates with an interest a career in Information Technology with a focus on identity management and cyber security.
